Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Cape Cod is seeking a Banquet Bartender to join our events team. You will mix, pour and serve drinks at weddings, corporate events and private parties, delivering friendly, efficient service and a memorable guest experience.

In this fast-paced role you will keep the bar stocked, follow health and safety rules, handle payments, and collaborate with the events team to ensure flawless service across diverse functions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in banquet or events.
• Excellent knowledge of mixology and cocktail recipes.
• Outstanding customer service with a friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic math and accuracy in handling cash and payments.
• Must hold any required alcohol service certifications or permits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and serve drinks per recipes for weddings, corporate events, and private parties.
• Greet guests and provide efficient, courteous service.
• Stay informed about beverage menus and promotions to make recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, stocked bar and comply with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with events team to ensure seamless operation during events.
• Handle cash/credit transactions following company protocols.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of bar stations and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all laws and regulations governing alcohol service.
