Job summary

The Watermark Hotel is seeking a friendly bartender to prepare and serve beverages to guests in a welcoming setting. You will follow health regulations and brand standards while setting up, maintaining, and breaking down the bar after service.

Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing drinks to recipe, handling POS, managing inventory, and upholding safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Qualifications

• TIPS or CARE beverage service certification required or obtainable.
• One+ year of bartending experience or bartender certification preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English for guest service and paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Guest Service/Point of Sale: Greet guests and take orders; work with Micros POS; ensure accurate billing.
• Bartender Duties: Prepare drinks per recipe, monitor alcohol service, uphold brand standards and safety.
• Bussing/Cleaning: Clear glassware, restock barware, and keep bar area clean.
• Paperwork: Complete shift inventory and related forms in a timely manner.
• Safety/Risk Management: Maintain sanitation, follow regulations, and follow incident procedures.
• Self/Workload Management: Prioritize tasks, attend meetings, and follow grooming standards.
• Miscellaneous/Other Duties: Be a team player and support guest experience goals.
