Job summary

The Watermark Hotel is seeking a guest-focused banquet server to deliver food and beverage service at events and regular dining service. You will set up and break down banquet spaces, ensure compliance with health and safety standards, and work closely with the banquet team to create an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and prior guest service experience. Certification such as TIPS or CARE is preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Provide food and beverage service to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
• Set up, maintain, and break down banquet rooms following events.
• Adhere to health regulations and local liquor laws.
• Assist in controlling expenses by using banquet collateral and equipment responsibly.
• Work safely and maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with team to ensure guest needs are met and support other departments as needed.
• Complete side work and contribute to the overall guest experience.
