Job summary

Grand Sierra Resort is seeking a hospitality team member to deliver beverage service with professionalism and courtesy. You will operate the POS system, manage checks, and maintain a clean, well-stocked bar aligned with hotel standards.

The role requires clear English communication, ability to work in a fast-paced team, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior banquet service experience is preferred but not required. Must be 21+ years old.

Qualifications

• Experience serving alcohol and menu products.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Operates glassware washing and ice/beverage equipment.
• Effective English communication, both written and verbal.
• Basic reading, math, writing and task completion skills.
• Able to follow instructions and meet time requirements.
• Willingness to work all shifts, holidays, nights and weekends.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide proper and professional beverage service to guests and staff.
• Input and ring up charges for orders using POS system; create checks for each transaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times.
• Maintain bar setup daily and replenish ice, beer, and cleaning supplies.
• Answer guest questions and provide information about hotel services and directions.
• Lay out and maintain contact with guests to ensure optimal service.
• Perform any other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
