Overview The Banquet Bartender will interact one on one with guests at catered events while taking guest orders, preparing drink orders utilizing club service standards, anticipate guest needs, and ensure satisfaction. Event execution will also include set up of bar and wine service areas, movement of catering equipment within the event venue and light side work and clean up duties.
Responsibilities
- Having elevated bartending knowledge and skill while consistently following sequence of service and utilizing proper procedures and standards
- Provide guests at catered events exceptional service throughout all phases of their experience at the Club whileholding full menu knowledge and preparation methods
- Exhibit proper knowledge and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and any menu items offered while maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the bar
- Maintain all equipment, tools, and supplies while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department, and local health department
- Work as a team and effectively communicate with management, banquet servers, and service staff to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guests and/ or other team
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a bartender, including experience in banquets and catering at a catering venue, hotel, or club environment
- Extensive knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer with interest in new beverage trends
- Must possess good attitude and attention to detail while having the ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks
- Physically must be able to lift and carry heavy trays and equipment as well as delicate china and glassware.
