Nationwide Hotel and Conference Center, located in Lewis Center, Ohio, is seeking a part-time Banquet Bartender. The role involves preparing and serving drinks for banquet guests in a prompt and courteous manner, maintaining high quality and consistency to ensure guest satisfaction.

Essential Functions

1. Greet guests pleasantly at the bar; promote house drinks and upsell to maximize revenue.
2. Prepare beverages according to standard procedures, establishing proper portions and ingredients to control costs and ensure consistency.
3. Monitor guest behavior and alcohol consumption; cease service when necessary; check IDs for age verification.
4. Set up and tear down the portable bar, including all supplies; keep inventory of liquor and beverages.
5. Handle cash transactions accurately, balance the cash drawer at shift end.

Physical Requirements

• Stand during entire shift.
• Lift, reach, bend, push, or pull heavy loads, exerting up to 100 pounds of force; regularly lift 55 lbs.

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Knowledge of bartending and drink mixing.
• TIPs certification.
• Legal age as per state law.
• Previous POS experience preferred.
• Good communication skills.
• Guest-centric attitude.
• High School Diploma.
