Job summary

Bobby Jones Links is seeking a part-time bartender for Live Oaks Golf Club in Jackson, MS to provide bar service during events. You will prepare cocktails, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks and ensure supplies are ready prior to service.

The role requires certs and licenses as per local regulations, strict adherence to alcohol policies, and help with setup and cleanup in a fast-paced banquet environment.

Qualifications

• Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (may vary by state)
• Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes
• Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the bar prior to event to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
• Ensures that fruit and other garnishes are prepared.
• Prepares and serves liquor, mixed drinks, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic drinks as ordered.
• Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
• Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.
• Checks identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Assists in the setup and cleanup of banquet functions.
