Job summary

Remington Hospitality is seeking a temporary part-time Banquet Bartender for the DoubleTree by Hilton El Paso Downtown events. You will mix and serve drinks, manage bar setup, and provide engaging guest service during weddings, corporate events, and holiday parties in a hotel setting.

The role requires attentiveness, reliability, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with adherence to alcohol-service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to banquet guests
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout each event
• Set up portable bar with garnishes, glasses, ice, and requested liquor
• Maintain bar supplies throughout the function
• Communicate effectively with banquet team and event staff
• Verify guest age and follow alcohol-service requirements
• Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible service practices
• Use POS system to ring bar purchases for guests' drinks

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel El Paso Downtown is conveniently located near I-10, El Paso Convention and Performing Art Center, and University of Texas at El Paso. Enjoy almost 5000 sq ft of meeting space with 4 restaurant concepts on-site!

Job Description

What you will be doing

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to banquet guests
• Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service throughout each event
• Set up portable bar with the appropriate items (as needed): garnishes, glasses, ice, all liquor requested for function, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
• Maintain bar supplies throughout the function.
• Communicate effectively with the banquet team and event staff
• Verify guest age and follow all applicable alcohol-service requirements
• Monitor alcohol consumption and follow responsible alcohol-service practices
• Using POS system to ring bar purchases for guest's drinks.

Requirements

• Previous bartending, restaurant, or banquet experience preferred
