Job description

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for seasonal, part-time Banquet Bartenders to join us at Patina 250 in Buffalo, New York. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at events while providing an excellent guest experience.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$11.00 – $11.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Set up portable bar with all the appropriate items
• Organize wine and champagne service for meal functions
• Maintain bar supplies and glassware and know drink recipes, prices, and types of beverages available
• Measure all drinks using a shot glass and encourage sales to guests
• Ensure all bar billing is accurate and money drops are done at the end of the shift
• Some heavy lifting required

More about you

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Minimum of 1 year of bartending experience
• Experience in cash handling and credit card processing required
• Previous experience using computerized point of sale system required

Physical requirements

• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to lift stock up to 70 pounds occasionally
• Noise level may be moderate to high during busy times
