Job Summary:

The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality of beverage production and service to our Members and guests during events. This role involves supporting all Club venues, events, and fellow Employees in delivering quality beverages and service. The Banquet Bartender maintains the bar, bar service areas, and related storerooms in a neat, organized, and secure manner. The employee follows proper procedures for stocking, cleaning, and ensuring opening/closing duties are performed to ensure bar readiness for all events.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Prepare the bar setup at the start of each shift, including putting bottles out, setting up garnish trays, checking and stocking juices, glassware, filling ice bins, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area and ensure all necessary items are in place.
• Ensure all liquor items are stocked and ready for use, responsible for liquor control and accurate pouring.
• Possess clear knowledge of all available liquors, beers, and wines for events.
• Complete all event assignments and side work to meet Club standards.
• Report Member/Guest complaints promptly and practice good service recovery to rectify issues during events.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous bartending experience required.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
• Working knowledge of bar-related beverages, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Knowledge of common cocktails, mixed drinks, and specialty drinks.
• Alcohol Intervention and Coach Certified (C.A.R.E).
• Passion for exceeding Member expectations and commitment to providing high-quality Member and guest experiences.
