South Sioux City Marriott Riverfront is seeking professional, experienced bartenders to join our team.

Job Summary: The banquet bartender is to greet our guests with hospitality as they arrive at our restaurant, conference center, and function rooms. They will make and serve drinks for our guests.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain an efficient and professional banquet bar area and provide quality service
• Greet guests and prepare drinks throughout the function
• Accurately record and account for bar inventory sold
• Verify supplies and products are properly handled and stored
• Other duties as required

Requirements:

• Must be an excellent team player
• Attendance is essential for successful performance
• May be required to work varying schedules
• Represent the hotel professionally when interacting with guests and industry organizations
• Maintain proper uniform and a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
• Minimum 1-year banquet server experience
• Ability to read, speak, and write basic English
• Ability to follow detailed instructions with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills and experience
• Basic computer skills for POS or cash register systems

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, crouch/stoop, twist, and reach for extended periods, especially standing long hours
• Moderate to high energy and physical stamina
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly
