Job summary

InterContinental is seeking staff to assist servers and bartenders in delivering memorable food and beverage service to guests. You will help maintain clean tables and service areas, stock wares, and support coffee breaks and continental breakfasts in line with hotel standards.

Two key requirements are at least one year in a similar role in upscale dining, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, read and write, and perform basic math.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar role in upscale or fine dining.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs (23 kg) and perform bending/kneeling.
• Good reading, writing, and basic math.
• Compliance with local food handling laws.
• Excellent communication – warm, welcoming and easy to talk to.

Responsibilities

• Assist servers and bartenders in providing quality food and beverage service to guests; maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment.
• Stock bars with designated supplies; ensure no shortages for guest service; maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
