Qualifications

• Understand portion sizes.
• Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills to make change and total guest checks.
• Basic English language writing skills.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to garnish, handle glassware, scoop ice, mix drinks.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests and take orders.
• Bartending and guest service experience required.

Responsibilities

• Proper and adequate set-up of a banquet bar with stocked beer, wine, spirits, glassware, ice, and garnishes.
• Maintain stock and proper storage of fresh fruit, garnishes, juices and perishables.
• Greet guests, promote and document drink orders, mix and garnish drinks, and check IDs.
• Handle payments via credit cards, member cards or room charges.
• Lock up and store beverage, food, and equipment items.
• Attend mandatory meetings and maintain health and safety standards; keep area clean and organized; assist with other duties as assigned.
