Job Requirements

Every day at work is a party! As a Banquet Bar Back, you will prepare permanent and portable bars for events and tend to guests. This position is about having fun while working efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction. You are responsible for the initial preparation and servicing of the bar, maintaining the guests' drinks of choice, and ensuring a high level of service.

Essential Functions

• Retrieve orders from storeroom, check stock against requisitions, and store items appropriately.
• Prepare garnishes, mixes, and juices, and store backup supplies.
• Maintain adequate supplies at the bar, replenish items during service, and keep areas clean and compliant with health standards.
• Scoop and transport ice, manage liquor bottles for returns, and perform routine maintenance on portable bars and tap units.
• Perform other duties as requested, such as cleaning spills.

Position Requirements

• Knowledge of preparation and service of alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills for inventory and portion control.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to handle glassware, bottles, and equipment.
• Basic English language skills for communication and understanding instructions.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and lift up to 500 lbs with assistance.
