Every day at work is a party! As a Banquet Bar Back, you will prepare bars for events and tend to guests, ensuring guest satisfaction through efficient service. Your responsibilities include initial bar preparation, servicing, and maintaining guests' drinks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Retrieve orders from the storeroom, verify stock against requisitions, and check with the Beverage Supervisor upon delivery. Store items appropriately.
2. Prepare garnishes, fruits, and juices based on projected business needs. Store backup supplies properly.
3. Assist in maintaining adequate supplies such as stir sticks, napkins, and matches for bars and portable service areas.
4. Replenish bar items as needed during service.
5. Maintain cleanliness of bar areas, including beer lockers and wine storage, to comply with health standards.
6. Scoop and replenish ice in service areas.
7. Save empty liquor bottles for returns and requisitions.
8. Transport and perform routine maintenance on portable bars and tap units.
9. Perform additional duties as requested, such as cleaning spills.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Knowledge of alcoholic beverage preparation and service.
2. Basic math skills for inventory and portion control.
3. Manual dexterity for handling glassware, bottles, and equipment.
4. Basic English communication skills for customer inquiries and instructions.
5. Ability to understand product labeling and safety instructions.
6. Ability to work in confined spaces and lift/move up to 500 lbs with assistance.
