Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Audio-Visual Technician to support banquet functions with setup and on-site AV expertise. This role helps ensure accurate tracking of equipment and protects assets while advising on AV needs for future bookings.

The position offers both Full-Time and Part-Time options, with responsibilities including coordinating with sales, addressing guest concerns, and delivering outstanding service. Opportunities start as early as September.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in hotel management and/or Information Technology is helpful
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others
• Ability to operate in-house equipment (telephone systems, internet, Muzak, sound, lighting, computer)

Responsibilities

• Set-up and teardown of audio-visual equipment for functions and events
• Provide AV/technical consultation to sales managers and planners for future bookings
• Address guest complaints and maintain complaint reports
• Maintain high quality service for banquet and meetings
• Assist with forms and records in the department
