Job summary

Newrez seeks a Bankruptcy Quality Assurance Specialist to provide quality control, audit oversight and risk identification within the Bankruptcy department. You will collaborate with managers to ensure accurate reviews of bankruptcy documents and remediation of defects while supporting process improvements.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (or higher), 3–4 years in mortgage servicing or bankruptcy, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3–4 years of mortgage servicing or bankruptcy experience required.
• Proficiency in BKFS/LoanSphere and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational risks and escalate to management.
• Perform reviews of bankruptcy documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Review monthly firm scorecards and assist in remediation of defects.
• Collaborate with Attorney Network to develop Performance Improvement Plans.
