The successful candidate will lead and grow a bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice in Boston, advise on Chapter 11, 7 and workouts, and represent diverse stakeholders in complex insolvency matters,

Qualifications

• Experience handling sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring and insolvency matters.
• Demonstrated portable book of business.
• Strong experience representing debtors, creditors, lenders, trustees or committees in complex restructurings and bankruptcy litigation.
• Collaborative leadership with mentoring juniors.
• Access to an established national platform with cross-office collaboration.
• Dedicated business development, marketing and administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a bankruptcy and financial restructuring practice within the Boston market.
• Advise clients on Chapter 11 reorganisations, Chapter 7 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
• Represent secured and unsecured creditors, debtors, trustees and committees in complex insolvency matters.
• Handle bankruptcy litigation, distressed acquisitions and Section 363 sales.
• Counsel clients on workouts, debt restructurings, insolvency risk management and creditor rights.
• Develop and strengthen client relationships while generating new business opportunities.
• Contribute to the continued growth and strategic direction of the firm's national restructuring practice.
