Job summary

Newrez is seeking a Supervisor Bankruptcy to lead a team of Bankruptcy Case Managers in delivering timely and accurate service. The role oversees training, policy maintenance, and performance metrics while coordinating with attorneys and other departments to resolve escalated matters.

The position emphasizes leadership, data-driven decision making, and adherence to investor guidelines and industry standards within a growing mortgage services environment in Tempe, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of bankruptcy or mortgage service-related experience required.
• 1-2 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a staff of multiple Bankruptcy Case Managers.
• Develop and maintain up to date policies and procedures.
• Identify areas for process improvement and help implement new processes, as necessary.
• Training of new hires on all systems of record, investor guidelines and industry standards.

• Use reporting to manage the team and make changes to reporting, as necessary.
• All aspects of personnel management including coaching and annual reviews.
• Act as the Bankruptcy point of contact for other departments within the Company as well as attorney firms on escalated issues.
• Track and analyze departmental data and report on the activities of the team.
• Assist with attorney billing and invoice approval.
• Accept special tasks as necessary and assume responsibility for successfully achieving objectives.
