Ballard Spahr LLP, which recently combined with Lane Powell PC, seeks an associate to join its sophisticated Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights practice in Seattle, Washington. The role involves representing parties in bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditors’ rights litigation, including loan workouts, enforcement actions, and receiverships.

Requirements include 4–8 years of relevant experience and an active bar license in Washington (waivable in). Oregon or California licenses are a plus.

Formación

• 4 to 8 years of experience in bankruptcy, restructuring, and/or creditors’ rights litigation.
• Excellent drafting and legal writing skills.
• Active bar license in Washington, or ability to waive in.
• Active bar license in Oregon and/or California is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Represent parties in bankruptcy, restructuring, and/or creditors’ rights litigation, including loan workouts, enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures, and related matters.
• Represent lenders, trade creditors, landlords, and debtors in workouts and restructurings, Chapter 9, 11, 15 cases, and distressed asset acquisitions.
