Keystone Distinction Group in Seattle, WA seeks an Associate Attorney for its Bankruptcy & Creditors' Rights Litigation Practice Group. The role involves representing lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors in complex restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters, across litigation and transactional work.

Ideal candidates will have 4–8 years in bankruptcy-related practice, strong drafting, discovery, and courtroom experience, and admission to the WA bar (CA/OR a plus).

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Washington Bar admission, in good standing; Oregon/CA admission a plus.
• 4-8 years of experience in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, or insolvency matters.
• Experience handling loan workouts, enforcement actions, receiverships, and foreclosures.
• Bankruptcy and restructuring expertise with debtor/creditor representations in Chapter 11, 15, 9.
• Litigation skills: drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances.
• Experience with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus.
• Excellent writing, research, interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, sound judgment.
• Ability to manage multiple complex matters with strong client service.

Responsibilities

• Represent lenders, creditors, landlords, debtors, and stakeholders in bankruptcy and insolvency matters.
• Handle loan workouts, restructuring transactions, and distressed asset matters.
• Manage creditors' rights litigation including enforcement actions and foreclosures.
• Draft and negotiate workout agreements, restructuring documents, pleadings, motions, and filings.
• Advise clients on insolvency, restructuring, bankruptcy and risk management strategies.
• Represent clients in corporate restructurings and bankruptcy litigation (Chapter 11/15/9).
• Provide strategic guidance to creditors and debtors in complex insolvency cases.
• Assist with acquisitions of distressed assets and corporate workouts, in/out of court.
• Draft pleadings, prepare discovery, and manage motion practice in high-stakes litigation.
• Collaborate with partners and clients in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

BANKRUPTCY LITIGATION ASSOCIATE ATTORNEY

A prestigious AmLaw 100 firm is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join its highly-regarded Bankruptcy and Creditors’ Rights Litigation Practice Group. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a highly respected team representing lenders, creditors, landlords, and debtors in complex restructuring, insolvency, and bankruptcy matters. The practice encompasses both litigation and transactional restructuring work, providing attorneys with exposure to a broad range of distressed situations, enforcement actions, workouts, and bankruptcy proceedings.

Candidate Profile

• JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, in good standing (or eligibility to waive into Washington); admission in Oregon and/or California is a plus
• 4-8 years of substantive experience representing parties in bankruptcy proceedings, restructuring, creditors' rights litigation, or insolvency-related matters
• Experience handling loan workouts, loan enforcement actions, receiverships, foreclosures, and related insolvency litigation
• Bankruptcy & Restructuring Expertise: Demonstrated experience with complex corporate restructurings, including both debtor and creditor representations in Chapter 11, Chapter 15 and Chapter 9 municipal insolvency cases.
• Litigation Experience: Excel in drafting, discovery, motion practice, and court appearances for bankruptcy-related disputes.
• Additional Transactional Background: Familiarity with distressed asset acquisitions and out-of-court restructurings is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Excellent writing, research, and interpersonal skills; attention to detail; and sound judgment are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle loan workout negotiations, restructuring transactions, and distressed asset matters
• Manage creditors' rights litigation, including loan enforcement actions, receiverships, and foreclosure proceedings
