Synectics Inc. in Minneapolis seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney with a blend of bankruptcy and commercial litigation background. The candidate will handle complex cases, perform research and drafting, and represent clients at hearings and trials.

The role emphasizes business development, client service, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A minimum of five years' bankruptcy and commercial litigation experience is preferred and high academic achievement is valued.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience dealing with complex business litigation with an emphasis in bankruptcy matters.
• Experience representing financial institutions regarding bankruptcy and creditor rights disputes, recovering funds and assets.
• Experience conducting discovery, including written and deposition discovery
• Experience mediating and negotiating case settlements
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs and other legal documents
• Must have very strong legal writing and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong critical thinking ability
• High academic achievement
• Strong verbal and written advocacy
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
