Job summary

Greenstein Sellers is seeking an experienced Banking and Corporate Litigation Attorney in Minnesota to join our Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will handle matters from demand through judgment and post-judgment remedies in banking and finance and creditor’s rights, managing a substantial caseload with strategic problem-solving and direct client interaction.

You will draft pleadings, conduct research, appear in court, and negotiate settlements while maintaining proactive client

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Minnesota
• 5 years of litigation experience (banking/finance or creditor’s rights preferred)
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume caseload with accuracy
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and confident courtroom presence
• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of banking and finance matters from initial demand through litigation, judgment, and post-judgment remedies
• Handle corporate litigation matters, including creditors remedies proceedings
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Appear in court for hearings and trials
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with opposing counsel and unrepresented parties
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients regarding case status
• Accurately track deadlines, court requirements, and file progression to ensure compliance and efficiency

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume portfolio of banking and finance matters from initial demand through litigation, judgment, and post-judgment remedies (including garnishments, levies, and other enforcement actions)
• Handle corporate litigation matters, including creditors remedies proceedings and actions
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, settlement agreements, and other litigation documents
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• Appear in court for hearings and trials
• Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements with opposing counsel and unrepresented parties
• Maintain consistent and proactive communication with clients regarding case status
