Job summary

PANGEATWO is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney for its Fort Lauderdale office with a remote option for attorneys in nearby markets. The role focuses on creditor-side bankruptcy matters representing mortgage lenders and servicers, across Chapters 7, 11 and 13.

The attorney will manage matters from start to finish, develop subject-matter expertise in creditor bankruptcy, mortgage servicing, and loss mitigation, and appear at hearings throughout Florida. Florida Bar in good standing and J.D. required.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of bankruptcy attorney experience.
• At least 1 year representing creditors in Florida Bankruptcy Courts.
• Active Florida Bar membership and good standing.
• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience managing cases from start to finish.
• Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume caseload.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to analyze case law and provide practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent worker with collaborative approach.
• Strong technology and MS Office skills.
• Willingness to travel throughout Florida for hearings/mediations.

Responsibilities

Our client, a well-established and industry-leading law firm, is seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to join its growing National Bankruptcy practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with creditor-side bankruptcy experience who wants to take on meaningful responsibility while working with sophisticated institutional clients.

The attorney will represent mortgage lenders and servicers in bankruptcy matters, protecting and enforcing secured-creditor rights throughout Chapters 7, 13, and 11 proceedings. What You’ll Do
