Ideal candidates have 2–5 years of Chapter 11 experience, top academic credentials, and superior research and writing abilities, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Chapter 11 work, corporate restructuring matters, including representation of debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors in complex bankruptcy cases, workouts and restructurings
• Additional experience in bankruptcy-related litigation in state and federal courts strongly preferred

Denver, Colorado office of FBT Gibbons is seeking a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate. The Bankruptcy and Restructuring Practice Group is a growing and diverse practice with a national footprint. Our attorneys practice in all areas of bankruptcy and insolvency law, with a focus on sophisticated corporate reorganizations, out-of-court restructurings and insolvency counseling, and related litigation. Clients include official committees of unsecured creditors and bondholders, debtors-in-possession, Chapter 11 and 7 trustees, secured creditors and lenders, indenture trustees, insurers, asset purchasers, lessors, and other significant creditors.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $195,000 to $220,000 , reflecting a variety of factors including experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational needs. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, relevant experience, and other job-related factors, consistent with applicable employment laws.

Associates Are Also Eligible For

• Quarterly and annual objective bonuses, with maximum objective bonus opportunities ranging from approximately $14,000 to $22,000 per year, depending on associate level
