Job summary

FBT Gibbons LLP, a national full‑service law firm, seeks a Bankruptcy and Restructuring Associate in Dallas, TX. The candidate will work on Chapter 11 matters, corporate reorganizations, and related litigation, advising debtors and creditors in complex cases.

Qualified applicants have 2–5 years of Chapter 11 experience, strong academic credentials, and excellent research/writing abilities, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach to handling sophisticated insolvency matters.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of Chapter 11 experience and corporate restructuring matters, including representation of debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors in complex bankruptcy cases, workouts, and restructurings
• Additional bankruptcy-related litigation experience in state and federal courts strongly preferred
• Superior academic credentials with excellent research and writing skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Represent debtors, secured creditors and unsecured creditors in complex bankruptcy cases
• Advise on corporate reorganizations and out-of-court restructurings
• Provide insolvency counseling and related litigation support in bankruptcy matters
