Job summary

Platte Valley Companies is seeking an HR Technical Training Specialist to create and deliver introductory technical training for new Associates in banking roles such as teller, personal banker, and customer experience representatives. You will support a peer training model, coordinate onboarding tasks, and mentor trainers to ensure consistent, effective training across locations.

The role requires a High School Diploma (some college preferred), banking or technical training experience, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; some college experience preferred.
• Experience in banking or technical training is required.
• Experience designing, developing and implementing training.
• Knowledge of teaching/training methodologies.
• Ability to translate technical material into training materials.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement technical training introductions for teller, personal banker and customer experience roles.
• Provide resources and access for peer trainers for in-person and virtual sessions.
• Coordinate onboarding tasks with HR Onboarding Coordinator.
• Onboard and train peer trainers via train-the-trainer sessions; conduct quarterly meetings.
• Mentor peer trainers and provide feedback on instructional techniques and communication.
• Mentor new associates with follow-up for two years and evaluate training effectiveness.
• Develop training support for Affiliate Services and other non-banking areas.
• Support training for all company acquisitions in collaboration with HR onboarding.
• Assist in developing training manuals and materials.
• Travel to locations to provide on-site training as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
