Job summary

UMB Bank is hiring for a Consumer Services Specialist to handle inbound service center calls and build relationships with customers. The role involves navigating multiple banking systems to resolve inquiries and cross-sell products, with training provided.

The position requires a high school diploma, strong English skills, and 1–2 years of customer service experience. Shifts cover M–F 7am–8pm CT and Sat 8am–5pm CT, with a compensation range and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Proficient in English.
• 1–2 years customer service or similar work experience.
• Knowledge of basic banking products including checking, debit, and credit card accounts.
• Ability to interact with and manage multiple computer systems to access client information.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers over the phone by accessing multiple systems to answer bank-related questions, provide information, resolve problems and cross-sell appropriate products.
• Participate in classroom training, online learning, and department communications.
• Performance will be measured based on call quality, talk time, cross-sale success rate and meeting competencies with monthly incentives.
• Other duties as assigned.
