Job summary

UMB Bank is hiring a Consumer Services Specialist to deliver an unparalleled customer experience by handling inbound service center calls and building relationships with customers. You will access multiple banking systems to answer questions, provide information and resolve problems while learning through training programs.

The role requires 1–2 years of customer service, basic banking knowledge, and strong phone communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years customer service or similar experience.
• Knowledge of basic banking products including checking, debit, and credit card accounts.
• Ability to interact with and manage multiple computer systems to access client information.
• Demonstrates the ability to learn and pass assessments/training certificates.
• Demonstrates pleasant phone and interaction skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound customer calls and access multiple banking systems to resolve questions.
• Provide information, address problems, and cross-sell appropriate products.
• Participate in ongoing training and assessments to maintain skills.
• Adhere to privacy regulations and authenticate customers before discussing accounts.
