Job summary

BankUnited is recruiting for a Teller/Platform role in Florida. The position emphasizes 100% client satisfaction while maintaining operational soundness and achieving market and branch goals. Training is provided, with a two-week Retail Training Class, plus mileage and hotel reimbursement for eligible travel.

A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered after six months of continuous service. The role requires 2–3 years of cash handling experience, excellent customer service, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of cash handling experience recommended.
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations experience preferred.
• Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues receipts.
• Promotes Bank products or services such as accounts, loans and cashier's checks; meets or exceeds goals.
• Cross-trains on Platform products and assists clients with related activities.
• Opens and processes accounts after consulting with customers on their needs; refers to appropriate business line as needed.
