Job summary

BankUnited is hiring a Teller/Platform Associate in Florida. The role handles transactions typical of Teller Line and Platform, focused on client satisfaction while meeting branch goals.

The position requires 2–3 years of cash handling experience, strong customer service and sales skills, and training in Teller and Platform functions. A two-week Retail Training Class is provided in Miami Lakes or Boynton Beach, with potential mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Requires 2–3 years of cash handling experience, preferably as a Teller.
• Excellent customer service, sales, risk management and cash operations preferred.
• Must be fully trained in both Teller and Platform functions.

Responsibilities

• Receives checks and cash for deposit, verifies amount, and examines checks for endorsements.
• Cashes checks and pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts.
• Explains, promotes, refers, or sells Bank products or services to customers in the branch or via telemarketing.
