Job summary

First Community Bancshares, Inc. seeks an entry-level Teller to join our Round Rock branch. Under direct supervision, you will handle cash receipts and deposits while delivering exceptional customer service in a high-volume environment.

You will evaluate customer relationships, cross-sell banking products, process wires and money orders, and support a diverse, primarily Spanish-speaking clientele. Regular attendance and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of work experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Background check as per company policy.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while handling cash in a high-volume retail banking setting.
• Evaluate new and existing customer relationships and cross-sell bank products.
• Follow bank policies and maintain accuracy in daily transactions.
• Achieve monthly new account production as assigned.
• Assist in in-store prospecting and sales opportunities.
• Process deposits, issue receipts, and balance daily transactions.
• Prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Support a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and teammates.
