Qualifications

• Six months retail or customer service experience preferred
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Background check as per policy
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a high volume sales environment with cash handling
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products/services
• Follow bank policies under supervision
• Assist in new account production as directed
• Possibly prospect in-store to generate sales
• Process deposits and cash transactions, balance daily operations
• Accept cash and checks, verify amounts and endorsements
• Guard against counterfeit checks and identification
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts
• Sell money orders, checks, wires, CDs
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base including Spanish speakers
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance
• Approval limits tied to authority levels
