Job summary

Qualifications

• Microsoft certifications are a plus, but not required.
• Computer support experience preferred.
• Experience with Jack Henry programs (i.e. Silverlake, Vertex, Synergy) preferred.
• 1–2 years customer service experience, preferably in a banking or financial environment.

Responsibilities

• Answers, evaluates, and prioritizes requests for assistance from users with hardware, software, networking, and other computer-related technologies.
• Interviews users to collect information and guides them through diagnostic procedures.
• Logs and tracks calls in the problem management database and maintains documentation.
• Supports internal banking applications (Silverlake, Vertex Teller, StreamLine for Deposits, DecisionPro, MS Office).
• Collaborates with programmers to explain software errors or to request changes.
• Installs PCs, software, and peripheral equipment.
