Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to lead Agile teams delivering technology solutions for Banking and Financial Services clients. The role centers on facilitating ceremonies, coaching on Agile practices, and clearing impediments to ensure steady delivery.

You will work with Product Owners and stakeholders, ensure backlog clarity, and drive Jira hygiene for time tracking. Requirements include 8+ years IT, 3+ years as Scrum Master, and hands-on with Jira,

Qualifications

8+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years as a Scrum Master.
Strong banking/financial services domain experience.
Hands-on with Agile Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
Proven experience managing multiple Agile teams and complex deliveries.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps or Rally.

Responsibilities

Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions.
Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies to improve team effectiveness and delivery outcomes.
Partner closely with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
Identify, track, and remove impediments impacting team productivity and project delivery.
Responsible for facilitating agile scrum, kanban, and scaling standards and best practices in support of product delivery.
Partners with product owner to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, and that sprint goals are understood by the team(s).
Drive Jira Hygiene in support of Automated Time Tracking.
Identify and manage intra-product and inter-product dependencies effectively.
