This role covers front desk reception, account support, and promoting digital banking tools, with mid-day shifts (10 am–2 pm or 11 am–3 pm) on weekdays and rotating Saturday hours. The position requires adherence to regulatory standards and a commitment to customer-first service.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet customers, use their name, maintain eye contact and a friendly tone
• Deliver prompt, accurate service across all transactions (deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, transfers, loan payments)
• Listen to customer needs and suggest products/services to improve their banking experience
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and account features
• Take ownership of customer concerns and resolve issues promptly
• Serve as a welcoming first point of contact for visitors and callers
• Answer, screen, and direct incoming calls professionally
• Greet and direct visitors while maintaining security and confidentiality
• Assist with lobby management and general administrative tasks
• Maintain updated customer information and track referrals
• Coordinate with internal teams to connect customers to the right resources
• Follow bank policies, balance cash, and reconcile transactions daily
• Identify discrepancies and escalate as needed
• Maintain knowledge of retail banking products and compliance requirements
• Support opening/closing procedures and branch safety
• Uphold confidentiality and complete compliance training
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
