Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. is seeking a Teller to serve as a welcoming, accurate front-line representative in our branch. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and routine transactions with a focus on customer experience.

You will educate customers about digital tools, protect sensitive information, and collaborate with team members to meet branch goals and maintain compliance. Training and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to complete internal teller training and product training.
• Willingness to travel to training locations as required.
• Reliable transportation and timely availability.

Responsibilities

• Process routine financial transactions: deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, payments.
• Verify customer identity and funds; maintain cash drawer accuracy.
• Educate customers on digital banking tools and self-service options.
• Refer customers to branch partners for additional solutions.
• Support lobby management and answer inquiries professionally.
• Adhere to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
