Job summary

UMB is seeking a Data Product Manager to lead cross-functional teams in designing and delivering data products that drive business value. You will partner with data engineers, data scientists, governance, and platform teams to translate requirements into tangible solutions.

You will define roadmaps, manage backlogs, measure KPI success, ensure scalability and compliance, and communicate progress to stakeholders across the bank's data product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
• 6+ years in data governance, product management, business analysis, data engineering, or data science.
• At least 3 years focused on data products or data-driven initiatives.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging with business stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to translate data into action.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into detailed data product specifications and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineering, data science, governance, and platform teams to develop and launch data products.
• Define vision, roadmaps, and strategic governance for data products.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to measure product success and impact.
• Communicate updates and performance metrics to stakeholders across the organization.
