Job summary

Nebraska Bank of Commerce is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our Main Lincoln location. The CSR will be a resourceful advocate for customers, handling transactions and inquiries with accuracy and a positive image.

Hours: 7:45 am – 4:45 pm, Monday–Friday, with rotating Saturday shifts. Join NBC to contribute to a welcoming banking experience and strong community relations at our Village Drive location.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Retail sales/service experience is preferred.
• Cash handling experience is preferred.
• Proactive and responsive personality with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow through.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels of the organization and community.
• Possess a “can do” attitude/philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Service: Assist customers with account transactions by providing prompt, accurate service.
• Personal Commitment: Demonstrate dependability and regular attendance and punctuality; project a professional image.
• Daily Processing: Attend to daily transactions, balance cash drawer, participate in vault balancing, and answer phone questions or transfer as needed.
• Referrals: Knowledge of NBC products and services to provide guidance and proactive referrals.
• Maintain and Organize: Keep teller cash, documentation, and paperwork organized and secure.
• Training: Attend ongoing training and branch meetings.
• Administrative: Participate in special projects and maintain the lobby, teller line, and vault room; work a rotating Saturday schedule.
• Other Duties as assigned
