Job summary

Security State Bank & Trust (SSB&T) seeks a Customer Service Specialist to deliver outstanding service, assist customers with account inquiries, and guide them through banking products both in person and via phone or email.

Reporting to the VP Operations, you will maintain accurate records, resolve issues, and collaborate with branches and departments to ensure a smooth, compliant banking experience for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; finance degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service, banking, or financial services is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to pass criminal background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, accurate service across in-person, telephone, email, and digital channels.
• Assist customers with account inquiries, product information, transaction requests, and routine banking needs.
• Maintain accurate account records and comply with procedures and regulations.
• Resolve customer issues and escalate when necessary and collaborate with branches and other departments.
