Job summary

UMB Bank is seeking a Consumer Services Specialist to join our call center team in Little Elm, TX. You will handle inbound service calls, access multiple banking systems, answer questions, resolve problems, and cross-sell appropriate products while delivering exemplary customer experiences.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong English skills, and 1–2 years of customer service experience. Training is provided through classroom and online modules.

Qualifications

• Proficient in the English language.
• 1–2 years of customer service or similar work experience.
• Knowledge of basic banking products including checking, debit, and credit card accounts.
• Ability to interact with and manage multiple computer systems to access client information.
• Basic understanding of privacy regulations and the need to authenticate customers prior to discussing account information.
• Demonstrates the ability to learn and pass assessments/training certificates.
• Demonstrates pleasant phone and interaction skills with customers.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound service center calls with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Access multiple systems to answer questions, resolve problems, and provide information.
• Cross-sell appropriate banking products to customers.
• Participate in classroom training, online learning, and ongoing department communications.
• Meet performance metrics including call quality, talk time, and cross-sale success.
