Job summary

Magnifi Financial in Fargo, ND is seeking a Banking Consultant to greet members in person, on the phone and through digital channels, educate them on digital solutions, and process a wide range of transactions with accuracy and courtesy.

You will maintain cash drawers and ATMs, promote digital services, and refer products to meet financial needs while supporting branch operations and community relations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; two-year degree preferred.
• 6 months experience in a financial institution required (for Level II designation/pay range).
• Customer service and/or sales experience required.
• Notary Public designation in this position is optional.

Responsibilities

• Assists members with all transactions.
• Creates a remarkable member experience by responding and providing resolutions to member requests with expertise.
• Consults with members to identify and recommend Magnifi Financial products and services based on financial need.
• Responsible for maintaining cash drawer, cash recycler and the day-to-day operation of ATM machines.
• Performs a wide range of account services including mobile/ digital banking, card activation, transfers, and loans fundraising.
• Troubleshoots and helps solve member issues.
• Initiates wires within approval limits.
• Processes new account applications for basic consumer accounts.
• Promotes digital solutions (mobile banking, digital banking, ATMs) to members.
• May perform opening and/or closing duties for the branch.
• Contributes to the overall success of the branch and community relations.
