Job summary

Citizens Bank - Indiana is seeking a friendly and reliable teller to serve as a primary contact for customers. You will process everyday transactions, open deposit accounts, and refer customers to checking, savings and other products to protect their money from fraud.

The position requires a high school diploma, English literacy, and a willingness to complete background checks. A flexible Monday-Friday schedule and Saturday availability are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; count currency and coin; perform simple arithmetic.
• Bi-lingual preferred.
• Successful completion of credit check, drug screen, and background check.
• Flexible schedule Monday-Friday and Saturday morning availability.
• Two years of customer service experience OR completion of internal Banker Pathway I.

Responsibilities

• Represents the bank to customers in a courteous, professional manner to advance customer relationships.
• Processes banking transactions and deepens customer relationships.
• Handles cash and negotiable instruments with accuracy and awareness of fraud.
• Cross-sell bank services in line with branch goals.
• Collaborates in a team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Completes tasks to protect company assets and uphold service standards.
• Opens personal deposit accounts and handles higher level customer requests.
