Job summary

Truist is hiring a Regular, on-site Teller/Customer Service representative in Union City, GA. You will complete client transactions, educate customers on digital banking options, and support sales with outbound outreach while following policies and risk controls.

You will act as a trusted advisor to understand client financial needs, participate in training, and contribute to a consistent, high-quality service experience. Weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Two years of teller or cash handling or client service experience.
• Six months of client relationship building or sales experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a desire to interact with clients and prospects.
• Ability to master personal computer (PC) keyboard and software skills necessary for branch automation.
• Ability to multi-task under time constraints.
• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.
• Ability to travel to accommodate temporary staffing needs as required to include temporary assignment or locale changes.
• Ability to work weekends and/or extended hours with occasional travel and overnights may be included.

Responsibilities

• Provide a distinctive client experience to ensure a consistent service level by engaging clients with smiling, courteous conversation, and handling transactions.
• Educate clients on digital, self-service solutions including ATMs, Online and Mobile banking.
• Support team sales process by outbound calls, checking for client offers, and identifying needs or opportunities.
• Understand Integrated Relationship Management (IRM) to deliver Truist expertise and solutions.
• Participate in Truist Retail Community Bank Leadership routines.
• Attend training classes and learning to advance product knowledge.
• Adhere to internal controls, policies, and risk management guidelines.
• Serve as secondary contact for new account openings and problem resolution.
