Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of banking experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience.
• Previous supervisor experience required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and internet applications.
• Fluent in English (speak, read, write, comprehend, communicate) required. Fluent in Spanish (speak, read, write, comprehend, communicate) preferred.
• NMLS registration may be required*

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily banking center operations run smoothly and the Republic Experience is delivered consistently.
• Sell, open, and maintain retail deposit and loan products to consumer and business clients, and establish referral networks.
• Operate consumer loan applications for unsecured, auto, and other consumer loans.
• Assist in developing and delivering banking center goals and business strategies.
• Direct staff career development through training programs.
• Manage daily and monthly reports, including overdrafts and resolve issues.
• Perform cash drawer audits and ensure compliance.
• Handle and resolve client escalated issues.
• Make decisions on check cashing, holds, outages, and fraud.
• Ensure all exceptions and pending items are cleared on time.
• Approve and sign off on waived fees, cashier's checks, wires and GL tickets.
• Engage with the community and build relationships.
