Job summary

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Banking Center Manager to lead a team, develop sales plans, and oversee the banking center’s operations and compliance. The role focuses on coaching staff, driving deposits and loans, and building strong client relationships.

You will conduct outside calls, promote bank products, and manage service levels to meet the Gold Standard for Service. A strong leadership mindset and relevant registrations are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of sales, management, banking, or related experience including lead or supervisory role.
• S.A.F.E Act registration required at time of employment (NMLS).
• Notary Public designation required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations and ensure compliance of the banking center.
• Develop and implement aggressive sales and marketing strategies to grow deposits, loans, and referrals.
• Open accounts and process loan applications for consumer and business clients.
• Coach staff through sales and service behaviors to meet production goals.
• Lead weekly sales and pipeline meetings, daily huddles, and coaching conversations.
