Job summary

Midland States Bank is seeking an Assistant Banking Center Manager to lead sales and service at the Banking Center, working with the Banking Center Manager to implement policies and drive business goals.

The role coaches Bankers and Tellers, develops relationships with retail and business clients, answers inquiries, and actively promotes banking services while ensuring high standards of customer service.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Broad knowledge of bank systems, consumer loans and deposit accounts.
• Cash handling and customer service background.
• Proven sales experience.
• NMLS registration under the SAFÉ Act of 2008.

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of consumer and business products and services and proficient with identifying cross-sell opportunities.
• Maintain a customer base and continually deepening existing relationships.
• Assist in training, coaching and motivation of staff to cross-sell products and deepen customer relationships.
• Drive sales through quality service and product knowledge to achieve personal and team goals.
• Actively participate in weekly huddles and coaching sessions.
