Job summary

State Bank, a growing $1.5B community bank in Ohio, seeks a customer-focused banking associate to support customer service, sales, and cash handling at the local office. You will greet customers, refer opportunities, and assist with deposits, transfers, and account changes in a fast-paced team environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related experience, solid math and communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Occasional travel to other branches is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year of related experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills required.
• Proficient analytical and mathematical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support customer service, sales, and paying/receiving functions at the community office.
• Coordinate work within the department and with other departments; report to supervisor.
• Respond to inquiries or information requests in a timely manner.
• Greet customers and provide friendly, courteous service.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals for business and consumer clients.
• Process various deposits, payments, transfers, and other transactions accurately.
• Balance cash drawer, prepare daily settlements, and ensure security procedures.
• Support call efforts by updating prospect lists and contacting customers.
• Maintain knowledge of bank products and services; assist with account changes.
• Travel to other banking center locations as needed.
