Job summary

State Bank seeks a customer service‑oriented team member to support the Angola, Indiana office and Williams County, Ohio offices. You will engage customers, promote bank products, and handle routine transactions while maintaining accurate cash handling and compliance with policies.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience, with strong math, communication, and inter personal skills. Training is provided across locations to support growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year of related experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing, and grammar skills.
• Proficient analytical and mathematics skills.
• Proficient communicative and interpersonal relation skills.
• Proficient eye‑hand coordination.
• Ability to operate various office machines.
• Ability to lift approximately fifty (50) lbs. of coin.
• Visual and auditory skills.

Responsibilities

• Greets and serves customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Maintains knowledge of current bank products and services; refers customers to sales staff.
• Meets or exceeds established referral and sales goals for both business and consumer clients.
• Handles customer concerns on statements and routine questions.
• Processes transactions including deposits, payments, transfers, and cash handling.
• Prepares daily settlement and balances cash drawer accurately.
