Job summary

State Bank is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support our Angola, IN office and Williams County, OH locations. You will greet customers, process deposits, withdrawals, and transfers while promoting bank products and services.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience, along with strong communication, math, and analytical skills. Training and mentoring are provided with opportunities for certifications and wage progression based on performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills.
• Proficient mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly manner.
• Identify sales opportunities and refer customers to appropriate staff.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals for business and consumer clients.
• Handle customer concerns on statements and routine questions.
• Maintain knowledge of current bank products and services.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and other transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and prepare daily settlement and reports.
• Assist in coordinating department tasks to ensure efficient processes.
• Adhere to bank policies and regulatory requirements.
